Special forces entered the Capitol building in Washington, where protesters of the current US President Donald Trump had previously burst into. It is reported by the NBC News TV channel.
Earlier, Trump supporters clashed with police near the Capitol in Washington. Protesters broke into the building and surrounded the Senate Hall. The Senate and House of Representatives have suspended a meeting, which was planned to approve the results of the electoral college, according to which Democrat Joe Biden won the presidential election. Later, one of the protesters was shot in the chest in the building of the American Congress. Trump himself has called on supporters to act peacefully and support the police.
