The Russian football club “Spartak” may change its head coach on December 15. Reported by Metaratings.
Italian specialist Paolo Vanoli should become the new head coach of the red and white. He is expected to arrive in Moscow on December 15 to sign a contract with Spartak.
The 49-year-old is best known for his work at Antonio Conte's headquarters for Italy, Chelsea and Inter. The former coach of Spartak Massimo Carrera, who also worked under Conte's leadership, had a similar experience.
Thus, the current head coach of the club, Portuguese Rui Vitoria, will have time to play two more matches before his departure. On December 9, the red-and-white will have a Europa League match against Legia, and on December 13, a meeting within the Russian championship against Sochi.
After 17 rounds of the Russian Premier League (RPL), Spartak is in ninth place in the standings.
