Spartak Moscow lost to CSKA on the road in the match of the seventh round of the Russian Premier League (RPL). The correspondent of “Lenta.ru” informs about it.
The meeting took place on Sunday, September 13, at the VEB Arena stadium and ended with a score of 3: 1 in favor of the hosts, who were considered favorites. Herdur Magnusson, Nikola Vlašić and Chidera Edjuke were among the winners. Ezequiel Ponce scored a goal for the guests.
In the second half, a newcomer Alexander Kokorin appeared on the pitch at Spartak. This is the debut match for the forward in the new team.
The victory allowed CSKA to score 13 points and come to fourth in the standings. Spartak has 14 points, the team occupies the second line. In the next round, the red and white on September 20 will play Rubin on the road. CSKA will play Ufa on the same day in a foreign field.
