Sparks fly towards houses: a national natural park is on fire in the Odessa region

by alex

In the Odessa region there was a fire in the national natural park. The work of firefighters is hampered by strong gusty winds.

The incident occurred on January 15 on the territory of the Lower Dniester National Natural Park. After 14.00 it became known that the reeds were on fire.

A gusty wind provoked the scattering of sparks in the direction of country houses (we are talking about the Water City cooperative). 12 rescuers and three units of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.

The difficulty of extinguishing the fire, except for weather conditions, is also due to the fact that the reeds burn with two separate centers.

The causes of the fire in the Lower Dniester National Natural Park are being established.
