The yacht of the Italian millionaire from Naples burned to the ground off the coast of the Spanish island of Formentera.
Superyacht The £20m Aria SF was commissioned by Paolo Scudieri in 2019, but only received it last month. The yacht had five cabins, a swimming pool and a gym.

The yacht was at anchor when it caught fire.
The seven crew members and nine passengers on the ship were unharmed and were evacuated to other boats in the vicinity, but it became clear that the yacht could not be saved. The fire quickly engulfed the deck, and despite the efforts of firefighters, the fire could not be extinguished.

The yacht hasn't even been officially unveiled to the yachting community yet. She was due to make her debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival later this year.
Paolo, the owner of a fortune of 400 million euros, made it from the sale of spare parts. He is the owner of Gruppo Addler, which was founded by his father Achille in 1956. Scudieri is also the Tourism Ambassador for the Principality of Monaco and sits on the board of directors of the Banco di Napoli.
It was previously reported that a superyacht costing £6 million. Due to the large amount of fuel on board, the ship burned like a torch.
