The chief of the General Staff of the Spanish Armed Forces, General Miguel ngel Villarroya, has resigned due to the vaccination scandal. This is reported by El Mundo.

The chief of general staff in a letter to the Minister of Defense stated that he did not violate the established rules, but nevertheless asked for his resignation.
