SpaceX postponed the launch of a new batch of Starlink satellites

Due to unfavorable weather conditions, Ilona Mask's SpaceX company postponed the launch of a heavy Falcon 9 launch vehicle with the 16th batch of 60 Starlink mini-satellites for a day. The company announced this on its Twitter page.

The launch of the next batch of Starlink Internet satellites is now scheduled for November 23 at 21:34 US East Coast time (November 24 at 05:34 Moscow time). SpaceX clarified that the Falcon-9 rocket is operational, the team will take advantage of the extra time to complete data analysis and monitor weather recovery.

SpaceX announced its Starlink Global Internet Access program in 2015. It involves the launch of about 12 thousand satellites: 4425 vehicles at an altitude of 1.1 to 1.3 thousand kilometers and 7518 at an altitude of 335 to 346 kilometers. The declared throughput of the system will be one gigabit per second per user.
