Moscow. August 23. INTERFAX.RU – The US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has postponed the planned spacewalk from the International Space Station (ISS) on Tuesday due to the illness of one of the astronauts, according to the NASA website.
“The spacewalk from the ISS of Mark Wande Hai (NASA) and Akihiko Hoshide (JAXA), which was originally scheduled for Thursday, August 24, has been postponed due to a minor health problem with Wanda Hai. The problem does not require urgent medical attention.” said in a blog post on the NASA website.
At the moment, experts are determining a new date for the spacewalk.
It was assumed that the astronauts on August 24 will go outside the International Space Station into outer space in preparation for the future installation of the third new solar array of the orbiting laboratory.
