The Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle with the Progress MS-17 cargo spacecraft was launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome. The head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin said in Telegram that everything went smoothly. The spacecraft has been launched into orbit.
The rocket was launched at 2:27 am Moscow time. At 2:36 am, the spacecraft separated from the third stage and entered low-earth orbit. It is expected that the Progress docking to the Search module of the International Space Station will take place on July 2 at 4:02 am.
Progress will deliver to the ISS 470 kg of fuel for refueling, 420 liters of drinking water, 40 kg of air and oxygen, 1,500 kg of equipment and materials, clothing, fresh food and more.
