Seoul may consider sending weapons to Ukraine.

South Korea is considering all possible scenarios for helping Ukraine amid the buildup of North Korean military forces in Russia.

This was stated by Foreign Minister Cho Tae Yol, writes Reuters.

During a news conference in Ottawa, South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yol said Seoul would monitor North Korean troop involvement in the war in Ukraine and any military aid Pyongyang receives from Moscow. He spoke through an interpreter.

“In particular, we will monitor the level of (North Korean) forces' involvement in the war and what kind of quid pro quo North Korea receives from Russia. We will take all of these (factors) into account before making specific decisions,” he said. .

An unnamed South Korean official also said Pyongyang would likely receive “compensation” from Moscow in the form of military and civilian technology. This is due to the fact that the DPRK is seeking to launch a spy satellite and upgrade its intercontinental ballistic missiles.

Recall that it was previously reported that intelligence reported how many soldiers from the DPRK the Russian Federation transferred to areas near Ukraine.

In addition, we previously reported that ISW experts explained what far-reaching consequences the DPRK's participation in the war against Ukraine will have.
