South Africa supports China and Brazil's six-point plan.
South Africa has supported China and Brazil's peace plan to end Russia's war against Ukraine.
South African President Cyril Ramaphosa announced this about this during a meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping in Beijing on September 2, CCTV reports.
The report says that South Africa supports the six-point consensus proposed by China and Brazil for a political settlement of the conflict in Ukraine.
The peace plan between China and Brazil calls for negotiations between Russia and Ukraine with the participation of both countries as the only way to resolve the conflict. The document, signed by a special adviser to the Brazilian president and the Chinese foreign minister, proposes organizing an international peace conference with equal participation of all parties. The plan includes adherence to the principles of de-escalation of the conflict and the prohibition of the use of weapons of mass destruction.
Recall that China, after a long silence, spoke out about the Ukrainian operation in Kursk, calling on all parties to adhere to the three principles of de-escalation: not to expand the combat zone, not to aggravate the conflict and to avoid provocations.
