The son of a Ukrainian defender was a fighter in the Egoz special forces
The son of a Ukrainian defender, 22-year-old Israeli army fighter Nazar Itkin, was killed in action in the south Lebanon.
This was reported by the Chief Rabbi of Ukraine Moshe Reuven Azman and Israelinfo.
According to the rabbi, the father of the deceased Israeli soldier David Itkin, although not at all young, but from the first days of the Russian invasion, went into terrorist defense. He defended the Kiev region, then fought in the Kharkov direction.
The son of the Ukrainian defender, 22-year-old Nazar, lived in the Israeli city of Kiryat Ata. He was a fighter of the Egoz special forces and died in battle in southern Lebanon.
“This is yet another proof that the war in Ukraine and Israel is one common grief,” said Chief Rabbi Moshe Reuven Asman.
Recall that on the night of Tuesday, October 1, Israeli ground forces entered Lebanon.
Earlier, Moshe Reuven Asman reported that his adopted son died in the war against the Russian Federation.
