This is provided for in the special charter, which was signed by Polish President Andrzej Duda.

In Poland, some categories of Ukrainians who arrived in the country after February 24, 2022 due to a full-scale attack by the Russian Federation and have a valid PESEL UKR status, will be able to apply for temporary residence cards (temporary residence permit in Poland) from April 1. The procedure for refugees has been somewhat simplified.

This is stated on the official page of the Polish government.

New amendments to the law, signed by Polish President Andrzej Dud, clearly define the categories of refugees from Ukraine who can be represented on temporary residence cards. We are talking about those who: are officially employed / will be employed in Poland, will perform highly qualified work in the country (scientists, engineers, IT specialists, etc.), conduct business activities in the territory of the Republic of Poland.

According to the document, in order to receive a residence card, Ukrainians will only need to submit an application and some documents. Applications for a residence card will need to be submitted to the voivode at the place of residence of a Ukrainian refugee in Poland.

Refugees will not need to submit their fingerprints as they will be taken from the PESEL registry. It is indicated that Ukrainians can be called for a personal visit to the administrative centers only in special cases.

Recall that earlier in Warsaw they explained how Ukrainians can legalize for a long time in Poland.

As reported, 84% of able-bodied Ukrainians who left for a neighboring country because of a full-scale attack by the Russian Federation found work in Poland . Refugees are looking for job offers more suited to their skills and qualifications.
