Part of the local residents of the Bryansk region joined the Russian volunteer corps. This was stated by the representative of the press service of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine Andriy Yusov.
He stressed that if we talk about support within Russia, then there is certainly such support. Intelligence knows that some of the local residents of these settlements in the Bryansk region have already joined, in particular, the RDK.
Ukraine is not involved in the events in Bryansk
The representative of the GUR stressed that the events in the Bryansk region are domestic and Ukraine has nothing to do with them.
Recall that on March 2, the governor of the Bryansk region said that the “Ukrainian DRG” allegedly entered the territory of the Klimovsky district in the village of Lyubechany.
Yusov has previously emphasized what is happening on Russian territory now – an internal Russian conflict and the ongoing destabilization within Russia that began after Russia's attack on Ukraine.
Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Mykhailo Podolyak called the story about Ukrainian DRGs in Russia a completely deliberate classic provocation.
The Russian volunteer corps announced an event on the territory of the Bryansk region of Russia with the aim of “showing compatriots that there is hope that free Russian people with weapons in their hands can fight the regime.”
Another explosions in Bryansk
On March 3, two explosions sounded in the area of the international airport in Bryansk. They announced the work of air defense, they say, “a Ukrainian drone was shot down.”
However, they then stated that “the sound was due to the fighter jet going through the sound barrier.”
It should be noted that this is not the first time such statements have been made by the invaders. Recently, an adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, Petr Andryushchenko, said that after lengthy meetings, the occupation administration secretly issued an order on how to cover “cotton”:
- a ban on all those working in the information space to discuss “cotton” at all;
- if you comment on something, then say that it is “air defense” or “aircraft overcome the sound barrier.”
