Sold out! The huge rush completely surprised Spar

by alex

The collecting fever has packed our youngest. Spar's latest Stickermania album is sold out – even the company is surprised.

Under the motto “Austria is so beautiful”, Spar started the new year with the twelfth edition of the Stickermania scrapbooks. The onslaught was apparently enormous due to the lockdown. Almost two and a half weeks later, the sticker booklet is sold out across the country.

“It's true, apart from a few remnants, the associated scrapbook is unfortunately no longer available,” said the spokeswoman for the SPAR Austria Group, Nicole Berkmann, to the “Kleine Zeitung”. Despite all the preparations, one was surprised by the high demand.

“We already printed 40 percent more for the twelfth edition, but we didn't expect such an influx”, Berkmann is quoted further.

The company spokeswoman has bad news for everyone who is still hoping for more of the scrapbook, which is in high demand:

There is, however, a little consolation. The Stickermania scrapbooks – including the popular # 12 – can be downloaded as PDF files from the Spar website. So you can at least print out a copy yourself at home.

The twelfth edition of Stickermania is designed as a travel diary for the characters Oskar and Bo and appeals to several senses. The stickers show the souvenir photos of the two and this year there are also twelve fragrance stickers.

The 200 motif stickers for the current scrapbook are still available. With a purchase of 10 euros, customers receive a green sticker letter free of charge, a maximum of ten letters are given out free of charge per purchase. Blue sticker letters, each with five stickers, can be bought directly at the cash desk for EUR 0.50 each.

According to Spar, part of the proceeds from the sale will be donated to the organization “Save the Child”, which supports children and families in need.

The next album is already in the starting blocks. Panini wants to sell its EURO 2021 stickers soon. According to the “Kleine Zeitung”, the start of the collecting fun should be in March.
