Sochi International Airport temporarily suspended receiving flights

Sochi International Airport announced a temporary suspension of aircraft acceptance. This was announced on Wednesday, December 22, by the radio station “Moscow Says”.
It is noted that the planes are waiting to land, circling over the runway. Currently, the time of receiving a flight from Perm has been changed, as well as registration has been canceled for four departing liners, in particular, to Tyumen and Kazan. The reasons for the restrictions have not yet been reported.
Earlier in December, a Ural Airlines plane en route from Yekaterinburg to Sochi changed course over the Black Sea due to the appearance of an unidentified aircraft. The crew had to change the flight trajectory 50 kilometers from the coast.
