On December 24, warming and snow are forecasted in Ukraine. This was reported by the forecaster Natalya Didenko.
Despite the fact that at night, in particular in the East, frosts reached -20 °, the weather is still changing towards warmer in Ukraine.
– Snow over Poland already today will be ours. So count on some warming and snow on Friday! – Natalia Didenko emphasized.
Meanwhile, the Ukrhydrometeorological Center announced the first level of danger in Ukraine on December 24.
– On December 24, there is ice on the roads of the country. During the day in Ukraine, wind gusts of 15-20 m/s, in the western part – ice. In the Carpathians – significant snow, wind gusts up to 20-25 m/s, blizzards – list the predicted risks in the Ukrhydrometeorological Center.
Thus, the institution notes that weather conditions can lead to disrupt traffic on certain sections of roads and streets .
At the same time, Ukrainian forecasters strongly advise Ukrainians to refrain from hiking in the highlands on December 24-25 , because there due to snowfalls and blizzards, a significant avalanche danger is expected (third level).
So, on December 24, it will be especially dangerous in the highlands of Ivano-Frankivsk, in the middle mountains of the Lviv region, and on December 24-25 – in the highlands of the Transcarpathian region
According to the weather forecast for the weekend of December 25-27, a thaw is expected on Saturday at Christmas, but by Sunday, December 26, the temperature should drop below zero again.
