The Russian State Duma adopted a law legalizing smuggling. Today, June 21, the State Duma approved the relevant law immediately in the second and third readings.

According to the law, the so-called parallel import is now legal in Russia – the import of goods into the country without the permission of the copyright holder. It is noted that the law applies only to certain categories of goods that the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation approved in early May.

Thus, 50 product groups of more than 200 brands were included in the list. Most of all, they plan to import cars into Russia, in particular, Tesla, Land Rover, Jeep, Jaguar, Chrysler, Bentley, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Dodge, Hummer brands. The list also includes engines Volvo, Hyundai, Nissan, Volkswagen, tires Michelin, Goodyear, Continental, Bridgestone.

Russian companies can also import phones and appliances Apple, Samsung, Sony, Asus, Intel, HP, Panasonic, Nokia, home appliances Electrolux, Siemens, Miele, Dyson, game consoles Play Station, X-Box, Nintendo.

In addition, the document also refers to equipment for mining, electric power, rail and shipping, agriculture, timber processing and other industries.

< p>Note that the relevant law is actually a loophole that will help companies get rid of criminal liability for the import of goods.
