On November 11, the famous Chernobaevka finally returned to Ukrainian control. However, since the beginning of the war, powerful explosions have constantly been heard on the territory of the local airfield.
The video, published by the head of the Nikolaev OVA, Vitaly Kim, showed shelling as of March 2. The author of the video notes that explosions have been heard in the area of the Chernobaevka airfield since 5 am. a helicopter took off. And the sky over Chernobaevka was enveloped in a thick and black column of smoke.
The video also recorded how powerful flashes from explosions were seen in the evening near the military airfield.

Recall that in Chernobyevka there is an airfield that the Russians have equipped for their base. For the first time, Ukrainian defenders hit him on February 27. They managed to destroy many Russian aircraft and equipment.
Chernobaevka is located north of Kherson and during the occupation was the last settlement along the M14 highway, which was strategically important for the invaders.
