The occupiers traditionally blame the Ukrainian Armed Forces for the strikes.

On the night of Sunday, August 18, drones attacked an oil depot in Proletarsk in the Rostov region. A large-scale fire broke out at the facility, the smoke from which could be seen hundreds of meters away.

The Baza Telegram channel reported this.

The Governor of the Rostov Region Vasily Golubev stated in his message on Telegram that the UAV attack was allegedly repelled by air defense forces. The fire, according to him, was caused by falling debris.

“In the southeast of the Rostov region, air defense forces also repelled a UAV attack. As a result of falling debris, diesel fuel caught fire on the territory of industrial warehouses in Proletarsk. Firefighting units were called in to extinguish the fire,” he wrote.
