Tennis veteran Andy Murray has got himself into trouble. The Scot lost his wedding ring in Indian Wells.
The 34-year-old reported a serious mistake via Instagram. The two-time Olympic champion wanted to air his smelly tennis shoes overnight. But since he didn't have a balcony in his hotel, he put his “Bock” under his car overnight.
In the morning, however, the shoes were gone. The problem: Murray had his wedding ring attached to his shoelaces so that he can always carry it with him on the court. After that, I simply forgot to take the unique piece of jewelry off the shoes.
“Yeah, I know I'm an idiot and in retrospect it was a terrible idea,” the Scot confesses on Instagram.
Wife Kim is now in trouble: “I don't have to tell you that I have problems at home.”
