Smartphone Owners' Dreams Revealed

Most smartphone users are concerned about the battery life of the device. This information follows from the report of the analytical agency BlinkAI.

Phone owners who participated in the survey were asked to reveal the features they dream of and what problems they would like to fix in their devices. 73 percent of respondents – 72 percent of iPhone users and 75 percent of Android device owners – said they want their gadget to work without plugging in as long as possible. The survey participants noticed that they were not satisfied with the autonomy of smartphones in one way or another. About 50 percent of users reported a lack of built-in memory, about 40 percent of consumers want a gadget with a more powerful processor.

Also, about 40 percent of respondents said that they dream of increasing the quality of the photos taken with the device's camera. Only 32 percent of Apple smartphone users and 36 percent of Android device owners care about the ability to use the device on the fifth generation networks. BlinkAI's findings are based on a February survey of about 1,000 US smartphone users.

Analysts have noticed that over the years, consumers have become more thorough in choosing their smartphones. In particular, the number of users who pay attention to the performance of the processor built into the device has sharply increased. Experts also said that the consumers they interviewed are in no hurry to purchase new smartphones. For example, 34 percent of iPhone owners said they plan to use their device for more than three years.

Previously, analysts named three reasons why iPhone users are ready to switch to Android smartphones. Consumers looking to ditch Apple technology find other brands to be superior. Also, some users are not satisfied with the design of the iPhone and the lack of some functions.
