~6 0~p>Regarding Ukraine's accession to the EU, the Prime Minister of Slovakia said that he respects such a decision, but "they must fulfill the conditions".
During a meeting with Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Smigal, which will take place on Wednesday, January 24, in Uzhgorod, Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico will announce that his country will oppose Ukraine's membership in NATO.
The head of the Slovak government announced this on Saturday, January 20, in the RTVS “Saturday Dialogues” program.
“I’ll tell him [Smygal] that I am against Ukraine’s membership in NATO, because this is precisely the basis of the Third World War,” said the Prime Minister of Slovakia.
Robert Fico is also going to once again announce to the head of the Ukrainian government that Ukraine will not receive any weapons from the army and state warehouses from Slovakia.
At the same time time, the prime minister has no problems with commercial supplies of weapons to Ukraine. “Commercially, let whoever wants to make money from weapons, whatever he wants,” he added.
Regarding Ukraine’s accession to the EU, the Prime Minister of Slovakia said that he respects such a decision, but “they must fulfill the conditions.”
On RTVS, the Slovak Prime Minister repeated his statements that Ukraine is not sovereign and “is under the total influence and control of the United States of America.”
Fico also repeated that there is no military solution to the conflict, so Ukraine will have to give up part of its territory.
“There must be some kind of compromise, which will be very painful for both sides. And what are they waiting for? That the Russians will leave Crimea, Donbass and Lugansk? This is unrealistic,” he said.
Recall that earlier the Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico had already made a scandalous statement about the war in Ukraine. Like, even with money and all Western weapons, he will not be able to defeat aggressor Russia on the battlefield.
