A 36-year-old man who raped his neighbor while she was sleeping will be tried in the Lugansk region. He could face up to five years behind bars.
The incident occurred in November last year in Severodonetsk. That evening, a previously convicted man , along with his girlfriend, went to visit mutual friends.
There, the whole company drank alcoholic beverages, and at the end of the party, the two of them returned home to a 36-year-old man.
It is preliminary known that the woman herself offered to stay with him for the night. Being in a state of extreme intoxication, the man decided to “seize the moment.”
– During sleep, a man against her will and without voluntary consent raped her. After the crime, the victim went to the hospital and reported the incident to the police, the report says.
As of February, the pre-trial investigation into the case was completed, indicating sufficient evidence of the guilt of the 36-year-old man.
Only now they have chosen a measure of restraint in the form of detention in a pre-trial detention center.
