A 45-year-old man tragically died in front of his little daughter in Dnipro. Together with the girl, he was sledding and crashed into a tree.
As local journalists found out, the incident took place on January 2 in the Green Guy park. The accident was reported to the police by park guards.
On that day, a man brought his daughter on a sled: together they drove down a slope at the far end of the park. Below is a small drainage system surrounded by tall trees.
Together with the police, doctors arrived on call. The girl was saved, but her father died.
Criminal proceedings with the mark Accident were opened under Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
It is known that that in Zeleny Gai Park, where the fatal incident occurred, there were signs with information stating that it was forbidden to drive down the slopes.
Sometimes public utilities sprinkle the slopes with sand, and park staff warn visitors against riding in dangerous locations.
