Tande
Ski jumping star Daniel Andre Tande is still on the mend. The Norwegian has now been operated on on the collarbone.
Two weeks after the serious fall in the trial run before the first ski flying competition in Planica, the 27-year-old had an operation on his broken collarbone on Thursday. The operation went well, said team doctor Guri Ranum Ekas on Friday. The ex-world champion is doing well under the circumstances.
However, Tande still has to stay in the hospital for treatment.
The Norwegian lost his balance at around 70 meters during his jump on March 25, crashed onto the slope from a great height and was flown to the hospital in Ljubljana for treatment. There the 27-year-old was put into an artificial coma. At the beginning of April he was finally transferred to Norway.
In addition to the broken collarbone, Tande had also punctured the lungs.
