Six people suspected of “directed actions” were detained in Minsk

In Minsk, security officials detained six people suspected of committing “targeted actions” against officials and city infrastructure. This was reported by the State Security Committee (KGB) of Belarus, BelTA informs.

According to law enforcement officials, the detainees punctured the tires and poured paint on the judge's Lada Vesta car and damaged the Land Rover Discovery car of the correspondent of the “SB. Belarus today ”. In addition, they are also suspected of damaging the windows of the apartment of the deputy head of the Minsk prosecutor's office and 34 CCTV cameras in the Belarusian capital.

It is noted that the detainees covered all their “actions” in the Telegram channel “Busly Latsyats”, which belongs to the organization “Supratsin” (“Resistance”), recognized as terrorist in Belarus.

Criminal cases were initiated against six suspects under articles on the creation of a terrorist organization and the commission of a terrorist act against a statesman or public figure.

Earlier it became known that in Belarus they recognized Radio Liberty as an extremist formation (included by the Russian Ministry of Justice in the register of foreign agents) . Prior to this, the materials of the Internet channels “Radio Liberty – Belarus” were recognized as extremist, and the Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that the subscription to these resources would be prosecuted by law.
