The winner bet on the quick tip
The sixth six-fold jackpot in lottery history was cracked on Sunday. Exactly 9,165,954 euros go to Upper Austria. One player was the only one to pick the “six correct numbers” 16, 18, 19, 24, 28 and 32 and thus got the highest six this year and the fifth highest in the lottery history. The Austrian Lotteries announced on Sunday evening that the success was achieved using a quick tip.
A total of around 7.6 million tips were given on around 1.3 million betting slips. This means that almost three times as many tips were given as originally expected, according to the lotteries.
