In total, they demanded $ 2.1 million from the owner of RomUniverse. Nintendo is also seeking an indefinite restraining order, as it knows that the man wants to return the site, but without the “Nintendo content”. It is noted that the defendant was not even able to make a monthly payment of $ 50 to compensate for the damage.
The site owner himself said that his income is only unemployment benefits and food stamps. Therefore, do not expect that he will ever pay even a small part of the fine.
