In the Chernivtsi region arrested a pensioner suspected of corrupting underage girls. During the investigation, he was placed in a pre-trial detention center.
The incident occurred in one of the villages of the Vizhnitsky district. According to investigators, a 62-year-old man in the middle of the street showed the girls a sexual organ and hinted at sex.
The frightened schoolgirls told their parents everything, after which the police got down to business. Whether the man was in a state of intoxication that day is not reported.
Criminal proceedings are open under Part 2 of Art. 156 (Corruption of minors) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The prosecutor's office did not indicate the age of the affected children, but in view of part of the article, the girls were not even 14 years old.
The court chose a measure of restraint for the pensioner in the form of detention with the alternative of making a bail in the amount of UAH 62,000. Pre-trial investigation into the case continues.
