The observer emphasizes that this will not present us in the best light in front of our partners.

We should not expect the Ukrainian Armed Forces to seize the Kursk NPP. We can't do this.

Military observer Oleksiy Getman said this on air at Kiev24.

“But trying to cordon off, create a certain zone, leave it without power… And transfer power from the Kursk NPP to ours, because we have lost a very large amount of electricity, is entirely possible,” he noted.

Getman added that he was talking about 22 kilometers. So this is absolutely feasible.

The host asked how long the Ukrainian Armed Forces would be able to hold it.

“Infinitely,” – Getman noted succinctly.

Recall that the mayor of Russian Kurchatov, where the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant is located, said that military action continues several dozen kilometers from the city.
