All people should know how to behave during emergencies. Anyone can open fire at any time, and it is impossible to predict it.
Therefore, knowing how to behave in such cases can save lives.
That is why ICTV Facts has compiled a list of prohibited actions in the event of an armed conflict on the street.
First of all, if armed people, military equipment suddenly appeared or riots broke out, if possible, you should immediately leave the dangerous area.
To avoid possible provocations, it is better not to argue with strangers, and even more so to inform them about your plans and intentions.
The same recommendation applies to acquaintances with an unreliable reputation.
In order not to complicate the situation, you should not take photos or shoot videos in the presence of armed people.
What not to do in the event of an armed conflict on the street
- Do not watch the fighting unfold, do not stand and run under fire.
- Avoid military vehicles, if any appeared nearby.
- Do not display weapons or items similar to them.
- Suddenly a person has been wounded next to you, do not try to help him while the shooting is going on.
- If you managed to find a shelter, do not leave it for a while after the silence has come.
- Do not pick up abandoned weapons and ammunition;
- Do not touch explosive and suspicious objects, do not try to disassemble them, move them to another place, and the like.
All potentially dangerous finds should, if possible, be reported to the State Emergency Service or the National Police by numbers 101 and 102.
Suddenly there was an attack in your area, you should not appear on the street in an army uniform, camouflage clothing or have any symbols with you that can provoke an inadequate reaction.
It will be better if you prefer clothes of dark colors.
The fact that clothes should be as similar as possible to civilian clothes is also confirmed by the Ukrainian military intelligence officerThe pilgrim.
According to him, an alarming suitcase (most often a backpack), which should be folded in case of an emergency, should also not resemble camouflage.
In winter, you can put a set of warm and light clothes, extra shoes, documents and a first aid kit in the suitcase.
