After the events that took place at the Yuzhmash plant in Dnipro, the commander of the National Guard of Ukraine Nikolay Balan resigned.
In particular, he wrote a resignation letter, in which he indicated that he, as a commander, was responsible for what had happened.
– The commander or commander is responsible for any actions, both good and bad. This morning I expressed a desire and wrote a report to the Minister of Internal Affairs, a petition to the president to resign and dismiss the commander of the National Guard,” Balan said during a briefing on January 27.
