Shooting down of Il-76: the Russian Federation threatened to strike an airfield in Poland

by alex

Russian propagandist started talking about revenge because of the downing of Il-76 near Belgorod.

Russian propagandist and mouthpiece of the Kremlin Dmitry Kiselev threatened to attack the Polish airfield in Rzeszow. He accused the United States of destroying a military transport aircraft Il-76 over the Belgorod region.

Kiselev expressed his latest threats on the air of a propaganda program on RosTV.

“For some reason in the USA they believe that by quickly passing from one Overton window to another and provoking Russia more and more, they will continue to get away with it. But where to stop then? What is the braking mechanism? If only military-technical methods remain, then the Polish airfield of Rzeszow, which is the main transshipment base for Western weapons for Ukraine, is becoming an increasingly obvious target. But first, you still need to warn and explain everything very clearly. That’s what we’re doing “, said Kiselev.

The fall of Il-76 in the Belgorod region

Russian military aircraft Il-76 crashed on January 24, 100 km from the Ukrainian border near Belgorod.

Russian media began to massively publish reports that there seemed to be 65 Ukrainian prisoners on board the aircraft who were being taken for exchange.

GUR representative Andrey Yusov confirmed that it was indeed planned to exchange prisoners on January 24, but at some point the process stopped.

GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine stated that it does not have confirming information about the probable presence of Ukrainian prisoners of war on board the Russian military transport aircraft.

Recall that Putin was hysterical because of Nuland’s visit to Kyiv.
