If Crimea had not returned to Russia in 2014, Ukrainian neo-fascists would have rushed there. A possible scenario of the consequences of a coup in Ukraine was named by the head of the Ministry of Defense Sergei Shoigu. His words on Monday, December 27, are quoted by AiF.

If Ukrainian extremists and mercenaries from Western countries after Kiev arrived on the peninsula, “it wouldn’t seem enough to anyone,” the minister said. In his opinion, it was thanks to the Russian side that the peace in Crimea was preserved.
