The head of the Russian Ministry of Defense visited an exhibition of products of the Iranian military-industrial complex.

During his visit to Tehran, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu visited an exhibition of the aerospace forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran, where products were presented Iranian military-industrial complex.

Russian propagandists report this with reference to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

In particular, the head of the military department of the aggressor state got acquainted with missile weapons, unmanned aerial vehicles, and also Iranian-made air defense systems.

In addition to the latest models of Iranian drones, which are called “achievements of the aerospace industry” of Iran, the exhibition presents “captured” American-made drones.

The Russian delegation is headed with Shoigu arrived in Tehran the day before, September 19. The plans include negotiations with the military leadership of Iran in order to bring Russian-Iranian relations “to a new level” in the context of sanctions pressure that is being applied to the Russian Federation and Iran.

Military analysts note that the Russian Federation, having exhausted its missile potential in the war against Ukraine, seeks to receive short- and long-range missiles from Iran.

Recall that earlier the director of the Israeli intelligence service Mossad said that Iran intends to provide Russia with short- and long-range missiles in addition to UAVs.
