Prime Minister Denys Shmygal spoke with Nestle, which continues to operate in Russia amid the war in Ukraine.

According to the official, it was not possible to find understanding during the contact with the CEO of the corporation, Mark Schneider.

The Prime Minister openly declares that the company's activities in the Russian Federation endanger the people of Ukraine which are under fire from Russia. This is direct financing of the army of the aggressor country. Judging by the message of Denis Shmigal, Nestle has no plans to stop working in the Russian Federation.

Nestle is a Swiss corporation, which is the world's largest food manufacturer. The company's headquarters is located in the Swiss city of Vevey.

Recall that earlier Nestle announced the termination of investments in Russia. Other large world companies did the same, and the majority completely broke off all trade relations with the aggressor country. A list of such corporations can be found on the ICTV Facts.
