The Ukrainian government proposes that the European Union countries introduce a ban on aviation transit through its territory for Russia and Belarus.

He noted that the purpose of such a proposal is to close the opportunity for Russian business and tourists to use the skies of the European Union for comfort.
“Our idea is that Russian business and Russian tourists cannot comfortably use the EU skies. The EU skies are closed to the Russian fleet, but we have discussed with our partners the closure of transit for any flights to and from Russia” , said the head of government.
In addition, the implementation of this idea will create logistics problems for Moscow, since then it will become more expensive and less comfortable for Russians.
“We will insist on such sanctions. I am convinced that our partners from Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia will support our proposal. We will work with the European Commission in this regard,” summed up the Ukrainian prime minister.
Recall that it was previously reported that Russia is overpaying by 60% due to sanctions against the military industry.
