Russian mixed style fighter (MMA) Alexander Shlemenko called the attackers of the figure skater, Olympic champion Dmitry Solovyov, weaklings. The athlete reacted to the incident in an interview with Sport-Express.
According to the Russian, it is shameful to attack three of us on one. “For this one must be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. If there is a video showing that more than one person is beating the victim, then this must be an aggravating circumstance, ”added Shlemenko.
On December 21, Solovyov was beaten in Moscow by three men after he stood up for his girlfriend, the curler, Anna Sidorova. The moment of the attack was captured by a video surveillance camera, the intruders were detained.
Soloviev performed in ice dancing with Ekaterina Bobrova. The skaters became Olympic champions in 2014 and silver medalists at the 2018 Games in team competition.
