Andriy Shevchenko's Genoa started negotiations with Atalanta on the transfer of Alexey Miranchuk

Italian Genoa has begun negotiations on the transfer of Atalanta's Russian midfielder Alexei Miranchuk. It is reported by La Repubblica.
Atalanta intends to bail out 12 million euros for the transfer of the 26-year-old midfielder. The club also requires the inclusion of a possible payment of another three million euros in the deal as bonuses. The current coach of Genoa, Ukrainian Andriy Shevchenko, is interested in Miranchuk's transfer.
The transfer cost of Miranchuk is estimated at 13.5 million euros. The Russian's contract with Atalanta expires in the summer of 2024. Genoa's interests also include Bologna striker Riccardo Orsolini, Groningen forward Jorgen Larsen and Udinese defensive player Jens Larsen.
In the current league season in Italy, Miranchuk scored one goal in ten matches. He also took part in two matches in the Champions League.
