Initiator of the purchase of ammunition – Prague.
The first shells for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which were purchased as part of the initiative Czech Republic, will arrive in Ukraine in June.
Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipovsky stated this before the meeting of the foreign ministers of the EU member states, FREEDOM correspondent reported.
According to him, Prague is currently concentrating on implementing the agreements that have been concluded and paid for.
“We are grateful for every euro, every dollar that was allocated to this Czech ammunition initiative. I think that in June the first shells will be physically on the territory of Ukraine. They will help protect the sovereignty of Ukraine from Russian invasion” ,” Lipovsky noted.
Recall that Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Petr Fiala previously stated that partners will provide funds for the purchase of 500 thousand ammunition. About 20 countries have joined the Prague initiative .
