Barack Obama supported Kamala Harris' candidacy for the post of President of the United States.
The 44th President of the United States Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama expressed support for the candidate for the post of the head of the United States Kamala Harris.
This is said in Obama's letter on social media X.
“We told her that we believe she will make a fantastic president of the United States and that she has our full support. At this critical time for our country, we will do everything we can to ensure that she wins in November,” Obama wrote.
It should be noted that the Democratic nominee Harris has already been supported by the overwhelming majority of party leaders.
Her candidacy is officially to be nominated by the party convention in August 2024.
It was also mentioned that Barack Obama, unlike other officials, did not initially openly support Harris. At the same time, after Joe Biden announced that he would not run, he wrote a letter regarding the presidential candidate.
Note that the poll showed almost the same levels of support for Trump and Harris. This was reported in the NYT.
