In Donetsk region, a woman tried unsuccessfully to bribe border guards twice a day. She wanted to bring $11 thousand to the territory of the so-called DNR.
The incident occurred on February 4 at the Novotroitskoye checkpoint. The woman provided her Ukrainian passport, but the border guards were more interested in the significant amount of currency in her bag.
In order for the outfit to “not notice” this violation, she offered the border guard woman $ 2 thousand, but she was refused.

After that, the procedure for issuing a refusal card began at the KPVV. At this time, the woman tried to bribe for the second time, but already another border guard.
In order for the refusal not to be issued, she offered him half as much – $ 1 thousand, but this time she was refused.
The border guards handed the woman over to law enforcement officers, who will provide a legal assessment of the incident in the near future.
Proceedings may be opened under Part 1 or Part 2 of Article 369 (Offer, promise or provision of unlawful benefits to an official/ repeatedly) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
An enterprising woman may face a large fine or a suspended sentence.
