The majority of Americans (63 percent) appreciate the work of US President Joe Biden in the first days after the inauguration. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by The Hill in conjunction with HarrisX.
According to the study, the Democrat is the most supportive of Americans in his approach to fighting the coronavirus (69 percent) and governing the country (65 percent). He also enjoys support for his vision of the economy, job creation and the fight against terrorism (61 percent). A slightly smaller proportion of citizens (60 percent) are close to the international policy of a democrat. Biden's approach to immigration is favored by 57 percent of respondents,
It is noted that among democrats the level of support for the head of state reaches 94 percent. Among voters who do not identify themselves with any of the parties, his actions are close to 62 percent. At the same time, 70 percent of Republicans are unhappy with Biden's presidency.
Earlier it was reported that more than half of Americans (56 percent) supported the impeachment of former US President Donald Trump. When asked whether Trump should be charged with incitement to rebellion, 52 percent of those polled said yes. At the same time, 57 percent agreed with the idea of banning him from holding government posts in the future.
