Shadayev: by the end of 2024, all schools and classrooms will have Wi-Fi
The head of the RF Ministry of Digital Affairs Maksut Shadayev said that by the end of 2024, all schools and classrooms will have Wi-Fi. Speaking at the Vremya obrazovanie forum, the minister said that the Internet should be not just in schools, but also in classrooms.
According to him, each classroom should be able to connect to the Web, demonstrate educational materials and multimedia videos.
Shadayev added that the digital school standard stipulates that video cameras will be installed at all entrances and exits in the educational institution.
The head of the department did not rule out that in the future, the function of automatically notifying parents that a student has come to school and left it will be added.
In turn, Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov said that by 2024 all rural schools in the country, including those in the Moscow region, will be equipped with one or another necessary equipment, TASS reports.
