Shadayev: all Russian teachers will receive tablets by 2024
The head of the RF Ministry of Digital Affairs Maksut Shadayev said that all Russian teachers will be provided with tablets by 2024, RIA Novosti reports.
Modern gadgets will have access to electronic journal and digital educational content.
The head of the department said this at a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
Shadayev also noted that from next year high school students will be able to study programming languages in depth for free. It is planned that the lessons will be conducted remotely or in specialized centers.
Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, Sergei Kravtsov, said that no technology can replace a school teacher, and this profession will always remain in demand.
