Former head of the foreign relations department Moscow Patriarchate (church Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and Metropolitan of Budapest Russian Orthodox Church Hilarion (Grigory Alfeev) got into a sex scandal.

Illarion’s cellman (assistant) accused him of pretensions
18-year-old young man from a Russian-Japanese family, Georgy Suzuki, invited Hilarion to become his cell attendant after the hierarch’s transfer to Hungary.
The guy said that at first he lived in his room and saw the Metropolitan only on business. However, soon Hilarion invited him to move into a room in his apartment to help with the housework, to which he agreed.
Then Hilarion took the young man to his dacha in France. There Georgy fell ill and spent several days with a high fever. Then, according to him, his first physical contact with the metropolitan took place: Hilarion stripped the young man down to his underwear and lay in bed with him, ostensibly to warm him up.
According to the guy, since then they began to spend more and more time in bed together. At first, Hilarion came to “check” the young man for illness, then, when they returned to Hungary, he began to visit him in the evenings, and then regularly sleep with George. According to Suzuki, the Metropolitan said that he wanted to “test him with his skin.”
Journalists from Novaya Gazeta have video recordings of Hilarion in underwear sitting on a bed with an almost naked young man.
At the same time, Georgy assures that they did not get to the point of sexual intercourse.
Note that in public Metropolitan Hilarion is an active fighter against LGBT+ and said that the church “helps rid people of homosexuality.”

Metropolitan Hilarion was at one time the “right hand” of Z-Patriarch Kirill and was considered his successor. In June 2022, he was fired from his post as head of the external relations department of the Russian Orthodox Church (in fact, the church Foreign Ministry) and sent abroad.
According to other sources, Illarion received the task from the Kremlin to maintain contact with the Hungarian authorities, who are loyal to the Putin regime.
In Europe, the Metropolitan wasted no time and acquired a luxurious mansion near Budapest worth €4.9 million. Hilarion’s mansion has 14 rooms, a swimming pool, a gym, a wine cellar and parking for six cars.< /p>
In one of the recordings obtained by journalists, the hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church says that he received money for the mansion from the sale of his apartment in Moscow and donations from “sponsors.” According to George, Hilarion convinced his sponsors that the money would be used to build a skete, that is, a monastic monastery.
According to Suzuki, Illarion spends all his free time having fun. The Metropolitan plans his yacht tours and trips to ski resorts in order to return to Budapest in time for Sunday services.
