The Russian Defense Ministry reported the “shooting down” of 86 Ukrainian UAVs in 9 regions of Russia. Among them, Moscow Region – 4 UAVs. The most active was in Kursk Region, where as many as 23 drones were allegedly shot down.
Around midnight, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported on social media that two drones heading to the city had been destroyed. According to him, the debris fell somewhere, and the relevant services are currently working there.
Because of this, Rosaviatsia temporarily suspended operations at Sheremetyevo Airport, and previously twice restricted flights at Kaluga Airport.

Also, the governor of the Smolensk region Vasily Anokhin stated that two drones were shot down over the region, assuring that no one was hurt and there was no damage.
Officially, the Russian authorities are, to put it mildly, reserved in their assessments of the consequences of UAV strikes on their territory. However, local Telegram news channels present the opposite picture.
Thus, two explosions were reported in Zelenograd, near Moscow. In the Moscow region, up to 10 explosions were heard. Explosions were also heard in the cities of Tula, Aleksin, and the Ryazan region.
In the Kursk region, it seems, Russian air defense was not as successful as the Russian Defense Ministry likes to write. Two casualties were reported.

Telegram monitoring channels report a wider geography of attacks. “Radar across Russia” recorded the downing of a drone near Tula, and “Radar.ru” reported loud explosions in Lipetsk. Both resources warned of an air threat in several other regions of Russia.
