On March 1, Russian invaders fired on residential areas of Mariupol – several houses on Shevchenko Boulevard and school No. 16 in the same area were damaged, Mayor Vadim Boychenko said.
According to him, residential buildings in the Levoberezhny district and the territory of the Kommunalnik KP were also under shelling.
Currently, the number of victims is being specified.
– Russian occupiers are waging a real genocide of the Ukrainian people. Their actions are no different from the tactics of the fascist-Nazi troops, who from 1941 to 1943 occupied and blockaded entire cities. They are no different from the Nazis, who mercilessly killed women and children. Almost 80 years ago, Ukraine repelled the attack of the Nazis. We will reflect now, – said the mayor of Mariupol.
