British company Expanscape has released a seven-screen computer. This is reported by the Gizmodo edition.
The presented device is a new version of the Aurora 7 model, announced in early 2020. The computer has a laptop form factor and six additional screens in addition to the main one. The device received four 17.3-inch 4K displays – two in portrait and two in landscape orientation. A couple more seven-inch screens with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels are located above the main ones, the seventh additional one is under the keyboard.
According to the description, the computer is positioned as a work machine for developers, programmers and financial traders. The model is not portable, unlike other laptops on the market – the device is 4.3 inches thick and weighs about 12 kilograms.
The device is based on the Intel i9 9900K processor, has a maximum configuration of 64 gigabytes of RAM and 2.5 terabytes of internal memory on the SSD. The computer comes with an Nvidia GTX 1060 graphics card. The model has several ports for connecting peripherals and a battery that provides several hours of battery life.
Expanscape said the model exists as a prototype. The cost of the laptop was not disclosed, however, on the company's website, you can agree on the pre-order of the device.
The first version of the Aurora 7 was presented in January 2020. The seven-screen computer has an Intel i7 quad-core processor, NVMe solid state drive and 64 gigabytes of RAM.
